We all know that we have a lot of call centers here in the Philippines. :101: Are we about to say goodbye to call centers that has US accounts? It will be a big problem if that happens. :argh: A lot of people will be affected. Many undergraduates rely on call centers for their survival. And having US government forbid outsourcing will be a big problem :a:
The US government had a House Bill 3596 or the ” Call Center and Consumer Protection Bill” made by: Reps. Tim Bishop (New York), David Mckinly (West Virginia), Mike Michaud (Maine) at Gene Green (Texas).

This is totally unacceptable and hundred thousands of people will lose their job it this bill will be passed as a law. :drool: Let us all be alarmed of this. I am not the type of person who blogs about politics or stuff, although my interest is law, but this is alarming. I am also one of the people who rely on call centers for their living. Let us all admit that there are a lot of undergraduates are working as a call center representative, the only industry that accepts undergraduates with equal opportunity to earn. (Some call center companies don’t accept undergraduates for managerial positions but accepts them with equal opportunity as an agent.) :googlyeyes: I really do hope the President is aware of this and will do something about this. :38:
