“We lose what on ourselves we spend;
We have as treasure without end
Whatever, Lord, to You we lend,
Who givest all” -Wordsworth
Losing to gain. A lot of people have the attitude of grasping on the things we love. :9: It can be a material, a person, or a dream. But if we really want to gain something, we have to learn not to grasp it. For example, money, :money: for you to gain money, you can’t just keep it for yourself, you have to let go of it. Invest on something, start a business. :110: Also, using money to help other people, to serve others is a great example to gain money from money by letting it go. :99: We have to learn what does “losing to gain” means. :93:
Another example is your partner, (boyfriend, girlfriend, wife or husband) :123: when you lose them, always remember that you have to “lose them to gain someone.” Losing them maybe God’s will because in losing them will result in meeting someone that is for you, someone God wants to be for you. Bear in mind that if you will not let go and move on, you may not see what God has meant for you. :66:
A lot of people that serving God is a waste of life, but they didn’t know that it was actually will help you gain more. :bear: I have served the God before through being a member of the Youth Ministry. :86 It was fun and it was not a waste of life. I met true friends, learn many new things, etc. :9: It was the time that I felt I was living my life and spending my time worthwhile. :40: But don’t forget to give time for your family, I was spending my time too much in the Church that I forgot to spend time with my mother and family. :15:
Learn how to spend your time and your life wisely. Always remember that losing is not always you are losing something, sometimes it may mean you are going to gain something. :51:
