Chief Justice Renato Corona’s Impeachment Trial

The Impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona has been ongoing for more than 40 days. And it’s been really trending on social networking sites. Like yesterday, when it was Chief Justice Corona’s turn to defend himself in front of the court and of the people, it has become trending again. Different reactions from people has arisen, some are funny, some are serious, some are in favor, some are against Corona. So I decided to include in this post some of the reactions of the people in the social media network.

Different reactions. I can’t state them all or pick the best, but I just randomly picked a reaction in Twitter and chose my favorite reaction in Facebook. Some are very angry, some are making jokes. These are only examples of people reactions. But if you are gonna ask me what I think about Chief Justice Corona’s speech a while ago, he was like trying to look pity in front of the people and making excuses. It’s not that I’m against him or President Aquino, but I think it’s quite obvious what is happening here.You don’t have to have a law degree or be college graduate to notice what is actually happening. But then again, it’s just my opinion.

Here is one of the spoof picture of Chief Justice Renato Corona spreading on the social network, he is being associated with former President Gloria Arroyo with their style on how to get away from this accusations. In fact, former Gloria  Arroyo has this the same spoof picture as seen on my previous article entitled Gloria Macapagal Arroyo looks like the Naruto character.

 

Indeed, the politics in the Philippines is a mess. I have to admit it, it’s really a mess compared to other countries. This is just my opinion, and probably the  same opinion of a lot of Filipinos around the globe.
