BE CAREFUL! THERE PEOPLE SELLING UST SIMS AT 400 PESOS! DON’T BUY IT IF YOU ARE TRYING TO SAVE MONEY BECAUSE IT ONLY COSTS 30 PESOS AND THAT 30 PESOS WILL BE IN YOUR BALANCE ALREADY!
I am out of topic that I can make a review. So I came up with this topic. University of Santo Tomas, España Manila, Philippines Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card or what they call community sim card. I always wanted to have this sim even though I am not a Thomasian anymore because I stopped studying. And so, I tried to look for the said sim, I asked my classmates to buy for me. But it was hard to get one and they were only able to buy the sim easily was during enrollment. Yey. I have my sim thanks to my classmates.
What’s up with this sim? This sim card is powered by Globe Telecom Philippines. A lot of people in the UST are Globe subscriber. Luckily it was powered by Globe. What are the perks of having the sim why did I want to have it?
1. You can received updates from your University in your phone.
2. Cheaper text and call rates.
Texts to Globe and TM subscribers are .50 cents
Texts to other networks are same, 1 peso.
Calls to Globe and TM subscribers are 5 cents per second or 3 pesos per minute, you are charged per second so it’s really cheap.
Calls to other networks are the same.
You can refer the other text rates and other expiration rates in the sim pack itself.
3. Longer expiration of load credits.
It’s really cool and cheap. And I am using it.
HEY! WAIT! I tried to Google UST Sims online before. Be careful! There are people who sell those at 400 pesos!!!!!!!!! Don’t buy it. You can buy it at only 30 pesos in UST and the 30 pesos payment will be in your load balance already.
