Anyhow, the topic is stress management that’s why I decided to post it here as it might help my readers. :93:
Here is the articles:
“Stress Management: How To Reduce it in 5 Minutes”
Stress has been one of the major problems of most people particularly those who worked. When I was working, the best stress management is smoking. It is bad for your health but for some people like me found it helpful to reduce stress. I have been using cigarettes to reduce my stress but it’s not really and advice. In fact, this won’t be a good idea and eventually can be cause of another stress that is when you got sick because of the cigarettes. So I advice to find other alternatives like something you really want, something that may find you interested which you can do in 5 minutes.
And I found something that can be an alternative for it but not everyone might find this as their stress reliever. When I got pregnant until now, I stopped smoking. So I have to find an alternative to reduce stress in 5 minutes. What I did was every break, talking to my daughter relieved my stress. This is helpful especially if you are really stressed and can’t go back to smoking anymore. Find alternatives like this because someday smoking can be another cause of your stress.
“Stress Management: How To Avoid Stress”
Stress is part of the daily life of adults. All experience stress. What differs is how each one responds to stress. Each person has different stress management. What is effective to you may not be effective to others. But there will be some universal way to avoid stress. Just think about this one: NOTHING WILL HAPPEN IF YOU THINK ABOUT PROBLEMS. The major cause of stress is thinking of your problems. This won’t solve your problems. Instead, it would even add to your problems, if you are already so stressed you do a lot stuff you didn’t mean to do. Let’s say you are so stressed working while your husband is jobless the tendency is will put all your anger to your husband, you will nag at him, blame everything to him then this will soon cause the divorce which will be another problem because your kid would be affected as well as your kid’s attitude. This won’t solve your problem but instead it will be endless chain of events that you wouldn’t like.
Start with identifying what causes your stress. After identifying the cause, practice disregarding the cause of stress, act natural and act as if you don’t care. Like my example above, try not thinking about you are working so hard for your family, think about you are working to see your friends in the office, enjoy what you do. Little by little you won’t feel the stress in your work but you feel that work is part of your daily life doing something you really want to do. Always remember that stress is just a mind over matter.
“Stress Management: Knowing Your Source of Stress”
Start identifying the source of stress as this will help you how to manage stress. Stress management is easy when you know the source of your stress. Some causes of stress are not easy to know so this would not be easy as you think. Some source of your stress may be your childhood problem or separation of your parents. You have to be keen with stuff about yourself; you have to know your thoughts, habits, and feelings. Know more about yourself. Starting a stress journal would also help you to know the source of your stress.
How can this help you? It’s hard to remember everything you do, feel, or think. So every time you feel stressed right it down in you journal. Write down what you felt, what caused the stress. Then after some time, you can read the journal. You will eventually found out what caused your stress. Writing it down will be the easiest way to track the source of your stress.
“Stress Management: Accept Changes”
Change is inevitable. All people came to point wherein they can’t accept something in their life. Change is the cause, accepting changes in your life or things you can’t change is part of stress management. Another cause of stress is when we think of the past or the future. We are in the present, so we have to live in the present. Don’t live in the past or the future. Thinking of the past and the future will only stress you. Accept changes. There will always be a time when we will come to a point we can’t change something; a wrong decision that ruined your present or a wrong decision that will ruin your future.
Always remember that change is the only constant thing in the world and that no one is perfect. If you made a wrong decision, move on from it. Forget the past; don’t think so much of the future. Remember that you don’t hold your life; there is someone above who knows your future and who better knows what is really good to you. Avoid stress by living in the present.
“Stress Management: Enjoy Life”
Stress is inevitable. There are hundred things you need to know about stress. Enjoying life is also a part of stress management. Everyone is stressed about something and another way to manage stress is enjoy life. Allot some time to have some fun, like having a coffee with your office mates after work. Join or organize team buildings. Attend parties and family or office outings. Have some time for yourself. Give some quality time with your family at least once a week. Enjoy life, don’t think too much as this is one of the major cause of stress.
Always remember that you never know when will be your last day here on earth, so why spend your life being stressed on something or thinking something when there is a lot in life that you can enjoy? Don’t spend your time on something that will not make you happy, life is short and you never know when your time will end so while you have time, make the most out of it and enjoy life.
“Stress Management: Live Healthy”
Living healthy is not one of the people’s priorities nowadays. But did you know that living healthy is another stress management? Your physical health or state affects your mental state as well. If you live healthy and start feeling good, stress won’t be a part of your life. There is a lot of way on how to live healthy. Do some daily exercise at least 10 minutes every day. Avoid smoking. Avoid caffeine and alcohol (wine is healthy). Eat healthy foods like fruits and vegetables. If you have time, join some yoga classes, it is one of the best ways to relieve stress. Health can help you relieve stress.
Remember that when you live healthy, you are not only getting rid of stress, you are also helping yourself. Living healthy can make your life longer, it can make your look younger and feel younger. Living healthy won’t hurt you instead it can help you have a stress free life, a better life to live.
“Stress Management: Socialize”
Socializing is a good stress management. We all know that when we are with friends, we are happy. We forget our problems for while and all we think of is having fun. Socializing is one the best ways to relieve stress. Give some time to be with your friends. If your sickness is the cause of your stress, then socializing is still helpful. Let your friends help you and don’t lock yourself in your room and wait for your death, do something, apply for a job, study again. There is a lot of ways in which socializing can help you with stress.
Why socialize? There is nothing wrong with mingling with other people. In fact, it can help you. Why not socialize? There is nothing to lose and you will have something to gain. In the future, you may even regret not trying to mingle with other people. Always remember that other people can help you with about almost anything, don’t keep it to yourself. Socialize.
“Stress Management: The Effect Of Stress To You”
Different people have different reactions to stress. And part of stress management is to know the effect of stress to you. Some people avoid eating, others eat too much. Some drink too much alcohol, some take drugs. Most of the reactions to stress are unhealthy. Like you easily get angry and vent your anger to other people, you argue with your co-workers or answer back at your parents, blame everyone for something that you know is not their fault. Negativity is another effect of stress to you, which is not good. As they always say think positive as per the law of attraction says what you think will eventually happen. If you think negative more bad things will happen to you.
Find out the effect of stress to you and if you found out it’s not good, you can easily work on how you can prevent stress since you don’t want its effect to you. Finding out the effect of stress to you is essential to manage your stress.
“Stress Management: Affects Your Health”
Stress is not good not only for its effect on your life but also on your health. You might not know this but you have to know that stress is very risky and could kill you right at the moment that’s why you it’s part of stress management. If the reaction of stress is not natural anymore, your life may be in danger. Why? Stress can be a cause of heart attack and you don’t want to regret not managing your stress before it’s too late, right? Stress can make you have heart disease, sleep problems, obesity, skin problems, digestive problems, and memory impairment.
It is why it is so important to manage stress. Know what to do before it’s too late. Don’t wait for the time that you will regret that you didn’t manage your time and you ended up in the hospital bed. Managing stress will not only help your daily life but also your health.
“Stress Management: Doing It The Other Way Around”
“If you can’t beat them, join them.” Part of stress management is trying to alter it. Managing stress is not easy. Trying to have a stress free life may take a while, but did you know that you can do it the other way around? For example, instead of throwing all the plates at your husband, why not try to just share your thoughts to your friend with a coffee? Keep away from things you know you won’t do anything good. If you feel like throwing the plates already, go upstairs, get your bag and leave your house, talk to a friend and wait for your temper to go down before going home. After all, your husband would appreciate that rather than being nagged or being thrown with plates.
If what you do didn’t help, find other ways of doing it. If you know it would not have a good effect, try doing it the other way around. After all, it’s easy to do everything the other way around.
