“Doing good to those who hate us,
Lord, it is difficult to do;
Help us by Your grace to love them,
Praying they will turn to You.”

“Love your enemies.” You have probably have heard this a lot of times, and it is true that it is very hard to love your enemies. :oh: So today’s post with being a revolutionary. People who can love their enemies are revolutionaries. (Our Daily Bread 2012) Do you agree? Yes I do agree. :93: It is really hard to care and love those who hate you, persecute you and put you in trouble, but did you know that it is the best way to prove to yourself that you are a Christian? Today’s entry told a story about a man who got beaten up. This man wanted a ministry but he never had the opportunity to join one so he ended up being a driver. There was a gang who rode him everyday but never paid until one day he was even beaten up by them. I don’t know why because it was not stated in the story but I have an idea why God let it happen. After being beaten up, the man was very angry with the gang and God and he blamed God. He pressed charges against the gang. During the trial for the case he was enlightened by God. He requested to be jailed with the gang and serve the same punishment but they didn’t allow him to do so as expected and the man continued to explain telling that Jesus died on the cross for a guilty world (Our Daily Bread 2012). So instead he visited the gang often and saw that most them come to know Christ. (Our Daily Bread 2012) When we love others in that way, it’s revolutionary! – Joanie Yoder :yipee: It is good example of loving an enemy. It probably God let it happen to him because he will be an instrument of Christ and spreading the good news. :20: It is hard to love your enemies but whenever you feel that way, remember that Jesus died for the same people who persecuted and mocked Him, that way it can serve as an inspiration to you. :99: Good luck on loving your enemies! :13:
“To love a friend is natural, to love an enemy is Christlike.” (Our Daily Bread 2012)
