“There can be those times when our minds are in doubt,
When we ask what our faith is really about;
We can believe Him, we know that He cares
For our God is real, as the Bible declares.”
– Fitzhugh
Was there ever a time when you doubted about your faith? :67: Let us not deny it, we all went to this situation, I have even heard of a story of a priest who doubted as well. :71: As humans, this probably normal. It is also hard to remove this doubt especially for ordinary people or those who experience hardships in life. :av: How can we overcome this doubt? Today’s entry deals with what is faith and what it does. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. – Hebrews 11:1 It seems like it defines faith as absolute intellectual certainty something they don’t always have. (Our Daily Bread 2012) It may seem confusing :4: and can also be another source of doubt, but this verse explains both what is faith and what it does. It affirms the certainty that comes as we continue in our commitment to trust Jesus and His Word. (Our Daily Bread 2012)
Don’t let times of doubt discourage you. Keep trusting and obeying the Lord Jesus and His Word. As you do, your confidence will grow. – Herb Vander Lugt Let us not forget that at your weakest times, the devil would love to attack you. :48: Don’t let him attack you, trust God and He will protect you. :99:
“Feed your faith and your doubts will starve.” (Our Daily Bread 2012)
