“Perseverance makes the difference between failure and success.”
– Our Daily Bread 2012
Today’s entry is also suited for a new year’s entry, It’s about something about Christian’s life that is common but not good. :110: “When we begin our walk with Jesus, we easily shed many of the sins that have weighed us down. We give dramatic testimonies about being free from addictive behaviors. We begin to start doing little sins and then we lose sight of our commitment to Christ and go back to some of our old ways of living.” (Our Daily Bread 2012) :99: Well, this true, why did I say that is suited for a new year entry as well? Because in new year, we make our own new year’s resolution.. :yipee: as we start the year and be unable to fulfill the promised resolution we start going to back to our old ways of living. :71: This funny but true, and alarming. :125: Almost all of us are like this, the example in the entry was when we want to lose some weight, if we get disappointed with our weight, we start going back to our old eating habit. :14: This is true. It is the same in our life, when we start to do good, and we get disappointed because it’s hard for you to try to be good, we start going back to our old ways of living. :93: It is not good because at the peak of being with Christ, you get tempted, you want to back out and go back in the wrong way again just because you believed you can’t do it. :a: Always remember to believe in yourself, believe that you can do it, and that Christ is with you, walking with you, and everything will turn out okay. :40: Remember that if you are with Christ, you are more prone to temptation, just HAVE FAITH and HOLD ON TO CHRIST, :99: He will be there with you until the end, and you will not regret because God will lead you to a path of success, happiness and love. :9:
I am one of this type of Christians, when I start telling myself that I will be good to the family of my husband, :120: if some issue happens, I get angry again, and decide not to be good to them anymore. :4: I try my best to be a better person, but sometimes I just can’t resist the temptation. :48: Even though, at the end of the day, I pray and ask for forgiveness. No matter what happens, I still HOLD ON to what I believe. :yipee:
