“Dear Lord, reveal to me my sin,
Show me the filth that dwells within;
Cleanse me and take my guilt away,
That I may do Your work this day.”
– Fitzhugh
Holy Love. :9: To be honest, I don’t know how I can explain this :9: entry because it is quite complicated and I am really not an expert to this. :38: The entry is focused on how people react to God’s holiness. :99: I am really not good in explaining this but I will share my thoughts to my best and share some of the :99: important points in the entry. :av:
The first paragraph of the entry says:
“Many followers of Jesus Christ today are preoccupied with the love and goodness of God, but not many think about His Holiness. And even fewer quake in fear of it! Why?
I don’t know how I can express my reaction, but it here it goes…
I guess it is about not fearing God in a wrong way. If we learn not to fear Him, and just LOVE Him, then it is for the better. It is the right way and that is the healthy response in thinking about His Holiness. “God is not out to destroy us by His holiness. His purpose is to take away sin.” (v.7) (Our Daily Bread 2012) :99: We overlook and we forgot the true meaning of GOD’s HOLINESS. :70: It is quite a complicated entry but this one of the most important and simple point that we should remember.
“God has both an all-seeing eye and all-forgiving heart.” (Our Daily Bread 2012)
