In contests like this wherein I feel proud that I’m a blogger! :yipee: This post was posted today and I’m happy that I’m one of the first person who blogged about it.
*********************************************************************
So my entry starts here: :yipee:
:57: What is your child’s greatest moment of achievement and how did it all start at Home? :83:
I chose that topic because although I’m still a teenager :67: I’m a mom of a 9 months old cute little daughter named Aphrodite Leunamme :67: . She loves to show off her gigil look every time I tell her, “paano gigil?” This is also one of her achievements. :93: But this is quite common so I decided that this is not yet her greatest achievement. :ag:
For me, since she is still a baby, :130: most of her achivements are at home. The greatest achievement was she learned to dance without me teaching her to dance. :40: She learned to dance at her 7th month. I always dance in front of her so maybe that’s how she learned to dance. :71: Also, we had downloaded several nursery rhymes in YouTube, she always watches and dances in to the rhythm. Every time she hears whatever dance music, (nursery rhyme, hit music on the radio, etc.) she dances, :69: and as months passed, she is improving with her dance steps. :19: Before she dances with her hands only, :20: then moving up and down, then now, twisting her body. :79: She learned to clap and all by herself, she included clapping as part of her dance step. :oink: One time, my husband tried to place a headset on her ear and played music. :110: Guess what? She danced! :101:
Here is the video :25: I uploaded in YouTube :30: with Aphrodite dancing while she wearing the headset and listening to the music. This video was taken last January 26, 2012, she was only 8 months old by that time. I uploaded this in Facebook and a lot of people had liked the video since it is rare for a baby like her to dance every time she hears a music. :127:
