This is Google’s logo for today, November 8, 2012. This is as to serve as a tribute to Bram Stoker, a novelist and writer. Today is his 165th Birthday. The logo for today is not interactive compared to some of Google’s old cool logos but the logo for today gives us a few background about Bram Stoker. He is an Irish novelist and short story writer. You are probably wondering why is Dracula in the logo. You got the hunch right. Bram Stoker is best known today for his Gothic novel, “Dracula.” One of his other novel is The Snake’s Pass during 1890. He also wrote other fiction and horror novels like The Lady of the Shroud and the Lair of the White Worm.
He was born November 8, 1847 and died April 20, 1912. Stoker is also interested in theaterthat’s why he also became a theater critic for the Dublin Evening Mail. 1878, Stoker got married to Florence Balcombe . The Stokers moved to London wherein Bram became acting manager and business manager of Irving’s Lyceam Theater.
Stoker died after a number of strokes. :51: Some biographer say that he died due to to tertiary syphilis, some say to overwork. Bram Stoker was cremated and his ashes is displayed at Golders Green Crematorium. (Wikipedia)
