Starting March 1, 2012, the Google Friend Connect will now only be available for blogs that are hosted on Blogger. I only found it out just today when I finally had time to check for GFC. I have noticed my GFC has been gone but I just had the time to check it. I found out that the Google Friend Connect will now be available to Blogger only and those sites who are not on blogger will only see a blank square. :14: What does Google says about it? They are encouraging people to use Google plus page instead. I like though, it is so much better than GFC especially if you are not in Blogger. The real purpose of GFC is to see the posts in your blogger dashboard, but since you are not using blogger, what’s the purpose? In fact, Google plus page is better especially is you are only after the number of fans. What will happen to your fans in GFC? What does Google suggest?

Use the admin UI or the Google Friend Connect API to access your member data.
Although there was an announcement, I didn’t know about it. They should have at least sent an email to every user of GFC. Anyhow, just think about it, Google plus page is better is you are after the fans. :93: Good luck on adjusting on the changes everyone! :71:
