I had enough with Globe. I had been using Globe Telecom’s service for years. I never wanted to make a bad review about them, but I really had enough. I think people deserves to know what other people thinks about their service. I don’t know where to start this but I will start with the most recent one.
Applying for a postpaid line via Globe’s sales hotline.
I had a good conversation with sales representative, probably because it’s sales, people are very nice. So the sales representative processed my application last April 29. The sales representative gave me a reference number and told me that if I will send my requirements within 24 hours including if the support team asked for additional requirements, I will get 2 free movie passes. The sales representative even made it clear to me that I must submit the additional requirements if asked to qualify for the two free movie passes. So I submitted the requirements right after the call, but all I got was an auto reply.

An Open Letter to Globe
Dear Globe,
We’ve been together for more than 6 years now. We’ve had our highs. Remember the times that we travelled together. Sometimes in remote places I wont see you, yun pala you are just hiding near the towns, mejo takot ka pala sa liblib na lugar. I understood that coz minsan lang naman tayo lumabas together. Remember also when we went to parties together? It was fun right? Kaya lang minsan mahirap macontact yung iba natin friends kasi pawala-wala yung signal mo. I still tried to understand you because mejo mahaba na din naman yung pinagsamahan natin. Lately, I’m just wondering, galit ka ba sakin? May nagawa ba ako masama sayo? Tell me please. Kasi palagi mo na lang dndrop yung calls ko. For the last 6 months, I had to call you para sabihin na irefund mo yung mga inovercharge mo sakin na internet bills, sabi mo kasi sakin protected ako ng anti-bill shock. Kaya lang nashoshock pa din ako. Binabalik mo naman sakin yung bayad ko, kaya lang kelangan ko pa itawag sayo, tapos pinagaantay mo na lang ako lagi ng at least 30 minutes. Bakit naman ganyan ka? Para naman tayo walang pinagsamahan nyan. Sabi ng mga kaibigan ko, iwan na daw kita. Sabi ko naman, teka, everyone deserves a second, a third, a fourth, evem a fifth chance. Kaya lang lately parang kabibigay ko ng chance sayo, i feel like inuuntog ko ang sarili ko sa pader? Please tell me why. Did I ever betray you? Hindi ba ako naging loyal sayo? Nadelay ba ako ng bayad sayo? Naka-auto charge nga yung bill ko sayo para sigurado on time. Kaya lang lagi mo na lang ako inoovercharge. Ayoko naman sana isipin na ninanakawan mo ako, pero mukhang ganun ata ang nafe-feel ko.
Siguro nga baka pakinggan ko na ang frienda ko ngayon at iwan na kita. Di ko na kasi nafefeel na gusto mo ako maging kaibigan. Bakit ko naman pagpipilitan kung ayaw mo diba? Globe, sana di na lang umabot sa ganito ang relationship natin. Mapagpatawad naman ako, pero mejo umaabuso ka na. Sana naman ako na ang last mo na lokohin. Kasi kakaganyan mo baka lahat na lang kami maubos.
I forgive you Globe. For everything that you’ve done to me. Kaya lang baka it’s time for me to find another network. One that would understand me the way you did, or even better. Sorry ha… It’s not me, it’s you.

You should work in a call center to understand how advisors deal with pesky customers. I’m not justifying the bad customer service but you people have to understand that it’s not their call to make a policies for customers. Blame the company. Advisors are only doing what they are told. The customer is not always right, put that in mind and calm yourself. Trust me when I say that being irate won’t help, baka bagsakan ka lang ng agent na yun.

I just got to read this. I’m currently experiencing it. Globe application sucks!!! Their CS Sucks!!! Their Service seem to suck and I do not see myself being tied down to uncommitted, unprofessional and undependable people for the next 2 years.
I’m waiting for their reply regarding regarding the cancellation of my application. I’m a patient person but the fact that they do not return my queries aggravates me.
I only Ayala really cares.

i think you can approach dti about this bad service. i’m not sure though. but i know someone who got a favorable response from dti after complaining about an appliance store’s ka-epalan.

Hi! Just applied for a postpaid plan last feb 18, and didn’t receive any call from them. 1 week after, i tried to call the globe hotline to follow-up my application, and I was told to wait for 24-48 hours and they will give me a call. But it turned out I was just waiting for nothing. So I decided to go to globe business center again and talked to one of the agents. I was told that the status of my application was still under “verification”. I asked how long should I wait more, “I don’t know, mam eh” was the reply. The agent said she will send a follow-up request and will just update me. Unsatisfied, I asked how long should I wait for the update. It looked like she really wasn’t sure how or what to tell me, but she said she would call me the next day (and that’s tom!) Honestly, I am no longer counting on it… 🙁

march 4 filled application online. Next day I got a call requesting requirements.Afternoon I got a call confirming my application plan and phone selected and was told will be delivered 2-3 days. Friday Galaxy note 2 delivered. 😉
